Job description

Join the team. Make an impact.

At Holded, we believe that daily admin should never stop a great idea from becoming a success. That's why we create intuitive software to empower anyone who dares to start their own business. Long story short: we want to make business simple.

In order to create cutting-edge products that meet the needs of the sector, talent is essential. We are looking for passion, creativity, and commitment. In return, we offer the same.

The Role

As a Motion Designer & Video Editor at Holded, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling our visual communication across all user-facing channels. You will work in a fast-paced environment creating motion, and video, that reinforce our brand for prospective and existing customers.

You will collaborate closely with our Head of design, Lead Motion Designer, and the Brand and Product Marketing teams to bring our brand vision to life through animated and video content used in ads, web, product communication, and social media. Beyond execution, you will contribute creatively to concepts, workflows, and reusable templates that help the team move faster and stay consistent.

We are focused on transmitting a simple yet powerful brand image, consistent across all touchpoints. You’ll be involved in projects end-to-end — from concept and storyboarding to animation, editing, and delivery.

Your day to day:

  • Create high-quality motion graphics and video content for ads, web, social media, product communication, and internal/external campaigns.

  • Edit video content with strong attention to pacing, storytelling, sound, and visual clarity.

  • Support in-house video production for webinars, talks, interviews, and internal communications.

  • Collaborate on concept development, storyboards, and motion approaches with the Creative team.

  • Adapt and optimize content for different formats, platforms, and performance requirements.

  • Contribute to improving motion, video, and production workflows while ensuring a high level of craft, polish, and attention to detail across all outputs.

Scope & Boundaries of the Role:

  • This is a motion design–led role with a strong focus on animation, editing, and brand communication.

  • Video production responsibilities are lightweight and in-house, primarily supporting webinars, interviews, and internal or brand communications.

  • This role does not replace a dedicated videographer or production team and does not involve complex shoots, advanced cinematography, or large-scale productions.

Job requirements

About you

  • You have 2–4 years of experience as a Motion Designer and/or Video Editor

  • You are proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Figma.

  • You have hands-on experience with video creation and basic production workflows like knowledge of simple sets, lighting setups, camera operation, lenses, and basic audio for in-house video productions.

  • You have strong foundations in graphic design, including composition, typography, and layout.

  • You are comfortable using, creating and maintaining motion and video templates that scale across teams.

  • You are collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.

  • You’ve got a great eye for capturing shots, angles, and moments that tell a story, and you're always looking for the best references.

  • You have verbal and written English skills (we’re a bilingual team).

Extra Awesome

  • Previous experience creating paid ads for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms.

  • AI Integration: We are interested in testing AI-assisted editing and motion ideation; you don't need to be an expert, just open to learning and experimenting with these tools.

You are curious and aware of the social trends. You know where to get your information, inspiration, and references from.

At Holded, we do things a bit differently. There’s no corporate nonsense and no old-fashioned hierarchy. Instead, we work in self-sufficient, autonomous teams. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.

We didn’t start Holded to be another software company. We started Holded to be epic, and you will be part of it.
