The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Analyst to join our Operations Finance team. This is an ideal role for someone with 2 years of experience in finance, billing or business operations within a SaaS environment that wants to join a top-tier and fast growing company that is transforming and highly impacting the billing and ERP Spanish industry.
The Billing Analyst is mainly responsible for ensuring that our subscription management system operates flawlessly, while manually handling edge cases that fall outside the current automation flows. This role has an important impact in our revenue operations and customer billing experience, ensuring transparency, accuracy and efficiency. The role can evolve to a more data-driven cost control analysis if the candidate’s performance excels.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee the day-to-day operations of the subscription management system
Proactively resolve any system discrepancies or operational issues related to billing and subscription logic
Manage subscription lifecycle events on demand like refunds, prorating invoices, exchange rates, credit notes, etc. All of this partnering with the customer success team
Manage the sending of purchase and sales invoices to the AEAT through the SII
Work together with the rest of the finance team during monthly and annual monthly processes
Manage financial disputes
Automate financial processes using data analysis tools
Work with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and analysis
Job requirements
About you:
Bachelor's degree in finance or economics
2 years of experience in finance, billing or business operations
Advanced Excel skills
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail and accuracy
