About us

At Holded we are upgrading the way SMB’s manage their business. We are a well-funded startup founded in 2016 that has raised nearly $8m from world-class investors including Lakestar (Holded was their first investment in Spain after previous investments in Facebook, Spotify & Airbnb) and Nauta Capital (Socialpoint, Privalia).

 

Our mission is to create a business Operating System (businessOS) that covers all the key areas for small and medium sized businesses. From financial management (such as Accounting and Invoicing) to HR, CRM and Project & Inventory management, allowing companies to automate over 50% of their overall administrative tasks and become Business Heroes.

The Role

As a VP of Growth you will oversee international Marketing & User Acquisition, generating MQL’s in an efficient way and finding new growth channels, while coordinating the demand team, and other growth functions within a fast-paced, and growing SaaS company.

 

Key aspects include setting the strategy and direction for user growth and advising on customer acquisition and revenue goals for the company.


Lead and develop the fast growing team of today x performance marketing experts.

 

Test and launch new online and offline performance marketing channels.

 

Also you will partner closely with the brand, creative, product, and finance teams to develop plans for new product launches, as well as supporting our brand expansion strategies.

 

This role will involve working closely with leaders on the Executive, Product, Design, Marketing and Engineering teams to help shape the vision and direction for growth at Holded.


Reporting


  • Reporting to the founder Javi Fondevila.

  • Working closely with other members of the leadership team including People, Product and Engineering, consistently ensuring the optimal balance of growth and efficiency.


Requirements

About you

  • Profile Overview: A highly analytical and creative Marketing Executive with extensive experience in leading B2C Marketing activities internationally across the key online and offline performance channels. 
  • A highly successful track record of 5+ years leading and scaling B2B marketing for a fast-growing online business, across geographies and you have managed budgets of Performance Marketing of over 3M€ a year.
  • Will have gained a thorough understanding of multi-channel online marketing based ideally on an early career in performance teams.  Will have demonstrable experience of building and scaling a digital business in a high growth environment through developing and optimizing a multi-channel marketing strategy.
  • Strong budgeting and deep analytical skills to be able to justify expenditure and then measure and report results.
  • High level of knowledge about performance marketing, referrals and affiliates strategies, SEO among other acquisition channels.
  • Experience successfully managing the growth of a SaaS company
  • A desire to be involved in both strategic planning and daily execution and optimization
  • Excellent communication skills are required, including the ability to sell and negotiate
  • Absolutely fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Hands-on operator who will get into the detail.
  • A true team player up and down the org chart, and across the company.
